Pet Panty and Microchip Scanning Station at Trellis

Pawsitively Proactive is excited to announce the first pet pantry of its kind, pet pantry and microchip scanning station in the heart of Smoketown! A pet pantry with much needed supplies such as food and leashes with a microchip scanner and instructions to help reunite pets with their families.

We’ve seen the positive effects of microchip scanning stations throughout the community to reunite pets with their families and prevent them from ending up at the shelter. We’ve seen the need from our resource clinics that pet families need supplies. We are happy to sponsor a 24/7 outdoor pet pantry and microchip scanning station in the 40204 area. The microchip scanning station is part of Louisville & Southern Indiana Microchip Scanner Network.

“This new pet pantry and microchip scanning station in Smoketown reflects our commitment to meeting families where they are. By providing essential supplies and a safe place to scan found pets, we’re helping ensure that pets stay healthy, supported, and home where they belong.” said Karen Mujica, Executive Director of Pets4Life Louisville.

WAVE, WHAS, WLKY, and Spectrum News highlighted the pet pantry and microchip scanning station at Trellis Brewing (827 Logan St, Louisville, KY 40204).
